Other buns: Jasper Jessica
Jemima is a rescued bunny. She came from the Bristol Dog's and Cat's home, which is an RSPCA shelter. We therefore know very little about her background, except that she was aged at 1-3 years old, and was left at the shelter with 2 litters of kits, a month between them and presumably hers, so I suppose she is a perfect example of why pet buns should be neutered. She is an english-patterned agouti dwarf lop.

She came home to us on the 31st of July 2004, after we had decided that Jessica was in desparate need of the company of her own species, after Jasper's death.

Jemima is a bit of a needy princess. She is friendly and well mannered, but she likes to be top of the pile, and will express her disgust with an almighty thump, if you displease her in any way. She craves attention, and is willing to be stroked or cuddled pretty much all the time. Out of all of my rabbits, she is the only one that regulary sits with me on the sofa, as an adult.

She was introduced to Jessica slowly, Jessie was very keen to make friends, but a mite territorial. 'Mima was unbelievably territorial, and demanding. Fights generally arose either because Jess came too close to 'Mima's cage, or because 'Mima was demanding grooming, and Jess would not comply! However, after 2 weeks, they were finally getting along well enough to live together full time.
